The University of Kentucky Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment has opened the new $60 million Martin-Gatton Agricultural Sciences Building, a 66,000-square-foot teaching facility and student center designed to support the next generation of agricultural leaders.
The building includes 15 state-of-the-art classrooms, student gathering spaces, a café, advising and recruiting resources, UK Ag Equine Programs, Natural Resources and Environmental Science, Agricultural and Medical Biotechnology, Pre-Veterinary Advising and the upcoming Companion Animal program. The facility also connects with the restored Cooper House and the James B. Beam Institute for Kentucky Spirits, creating a dynamic learning environment on the University of Kentucky campus.
Together, we grow Kentucky. Through modern classrooms, collaborative spaces and hands-on learning opportunities, Martin-Gatton CAFE continues its land-grant mission of preparing students, advancing research and improving lives across Kentucky.
