I'm walking you through my room at the Universal Kids Resort Hotel in Frisco, Texas: a Standard Queen with a theme park view. Universal brought me out for this hosted media preview ahead of opening, so this is a full room tour before anyone can book it.

This room is built for families. It pairs a queen bed with a built-in bunk, so it sleeps a family with ease, and the color and theming pop everywhere you look. The best part is the window. It looks right out at the park itself, where I can see the rides and the lands from my room.

Universal Kids Resort is Universal's first theme park built specifically for young families, opening July 1, 2026 in Frisco, Texas. The hotel sits right at the park entrance, with 300 rooms and family suites, dining, and an outdoor pool. Resort guests get Early Park Admission.

My tip: if you can book a theme park view room, do it. That window is half the fun.
