What does it mean to have unity in Christ, or unity in the church? What does this look like?
The definition of unity is being together or at one with someone or something. It's the opposite of being divided. So how should this be applied to Christian believers, churches, and ministries?
How can we have oneness among believers if we are not in agreement in what we believe about the faith we have?
We must first be unified with Jesus before we can find unity with others.
Unity among believers begins by believers being unified with Christ and his teachings!
UNITY STARTS WITH BELIEFS.
If we would preach, teach, and disciple people the whole of Scripture without leaving out what we think are non-essentials, those choosing to follow Christ would be unified and there would be much better unity in the church.
