There is no arguing that 2023 was a rough year at Unity, a year that resulted in the removal of long time CEO John Riccitiello. He was replaced in the interim by former Red Hat CEO Jim Whitehurst, who made massive and sweeping changes to Unity. It doesn't appear he will be remaining as Unity CEO however, as ex-Zynga COO Mathew Bromberg has been announced as the new CEO of Unity.
