Union Pacific freight trains, battling steep grades of the Tehachapi Pass, during the Spring of 2025/2026. The Union Pacific Mojave Subdivision connects Southern California with the Central Valley, with the Tehachapi Pass being the toughest running section of the line. With grades and curves up to 2.2%, it's easy to see why!
