The new UniFi G6 Pro Bullet surprised me with legit image quality and loads of pro controls.
Here’s what stood out after testing:
• Bigger sensor = cleaner image (esp. at night): 1/1.2” 8MP for true 4K.
• PoE+ power and a 134° diagonal FOV with optical zoom (no quality loss when you punch in).
• Black & white night vision looks excellent; motion detection up to 131 ft.
• Two-way audio with surprisingly clear mics (not that tinny, over-compressed vibe).
• Built like a tank—hefty, weather-ready (mine even took a ladder drop and kept going 😅).
• Deep image tuning: manual shutter/exposure for plate clarity or low light, HDR levels, anti-flicker (Hz) for different lighting, auto-rotate, and Hallway Mode for vertical framing.

If you’re building out UniFi Protect or upgrading an older cam, this one’s worth a look.
