Well, I guess I can finally cross off crying on YouTube. On the real though, this took me a really long time to edit because I couldn't decide what I wanted to cut and leave in the video, but I decided to make it as honest as possible.
The unfortunate mishap with the culturally appropriating theme did not (and still does not) overshadow how great the orientation week was. I got to meet so many cool new people and do a bunch of really fun activities.
That said, I have no hard feelings towards my university (like I mentioned in the vlog), they were great with their response and I can't wait to see them be more inclusive. Posting this isn't me dissing my university, but I thought it was important because it showed how I genuinely felt and I want people to learn from it.
