So there's now a FREE browser extension that brings back the much-needed dislike count across all videos on YouTube (unless the creator has privated likes/dislikes of course)

This FREE browser add-on estimates the dislike count and the number of dislikes on a video might actually be quite a bit more (the dislike data may be delayed by a few days), only the creator can see an accurate dislike count at the moment. Luckily, by the looks of things, this browser add-on does have plans on making the dislike count work for the foreseeable future, despite YouTube's API update that will go live on December 13th 2021. Like I said in this video, please take the time to watch at least Mental Outlaw's video about this topic, he did a brilliant job explaining the potential future of this browser extension.

UPDATE after Dec 13th 2021 - the 'Return YT Dislikes' extension seems to be working all fine even after the API update. Dislikes are still being shown on all videos for me.

Ask yourself who really benefits from the removal of the dislike count on YouTube videos (spoiler alert, it's not small creators, and this change definitely wasn't to protect them)
