The process of unflooding a chainsaw without the need for any tools is straightforward but methodical. First, make sure the engine is in the ON position. The choke lever is then found; it is usually located close to the throttle trigger. To give the engine the most airflow possible, turn the choke lever to the "off" position. Engage the chain brake for safety purposes, and then pull the starter cord ten or more times while maintaining full throttle while the choke is off. By doing this, extra air flows in to the engine flushing excess fuel out of the engine, and combustion chamber, out through the exhaust.
Repeated pull the starter cord. Try this a couple more times if the chainsaw still won't start. Flooding is frequently caused by extra fuel in the engine, which this approach effectively removes. It is possible to unflood a chainsaw without the need for equipment and restore it to operational condition quickly and effectively with perseverance and patience.
