If you celebrate, Merry Christmas! I know I haven't been active a lot recently but I should be free of this (terrible, abusive, toxic) job after the first week of March and then I'm taking a little time to decompress, so...I should be back to more regular uploads then. It's just currently sucking all the life out of me (as well as my free time and whatever inspiration I have) and as much as I hate it, I can't pull out and quit yet. Hopefully this will tide y'all over until then (and keep me sane)? Let me know if there are any of these you'd be interested in seeing me finish!

I have absolutely no explanation other than Ive been trapped in my house with either a lack of power or lack of running water since Monday (weve almost gotten a foot of snow in South Texas this week...totally didnt see that one coming) and this was my half-assed attempt to keep myself from going stir crazy.
I re-watched Salvation (9x19) as my laptop was on its last leg Monday morning while I was without power, and...yeah. The scene with Clark and Faora really was what inspired this mess as the baby Faora is carrying IS the Christopher Kent of the comics, at least in my head. I know that Zod kills Faora and the baby at the end of the episode, but enter my Smallville-esque take/spin that Lex finds and uses that DNA to create a clone that he raises with the intention of him being everything Clark isnt.
Only, Lex doesnt count on a certain half-kryptonian child of his ex-best friend to have such a connection with him.
Theyre serving those star-crossed our parents are mortal enemies but were hopelessly drawn to each other vibes ✌️
