Back again for another beautiful day on Route 66. Kicking it off with a quick visit in at the Giant Rocking Chair of Fanning, Missouri. They also have a cute store filled with a huge selection of popcorn and candy for all those with a sweet tooth out there. We couldn't miss out on another antique hunt along the way, so we stopped in at a place called Country Cousins Antiques. We were happily greeted by the lovely owner Lloyd, who was a pleasure to chat with and he even gave us a little antique gift of a Meramec Cavern's token after we had mentioned we were headed that way.
Our next stop was the Creative Chainsaw store just before Meramec, it had changed a lot since we were there last in 2017 but it was still a nice little stop to check out the carvings. @ChainsawCreative
We made our way down the road towards Meramec, (almost hit a deer) to adventure on a tour of the famous Jesse James's hide out. Meramec Caverns is a top place to visit, we loved it just as much as the last time we visited. Our tour guide was the best! super hilarious and when we experienced technical problems with the light show he kept us well entertained. @merameccaverns4069
We saved the best for last, we stumbled across the little town of Pacific to which happens to be the home of the Monster Trucks Big Foot! We even got to visit the Big Foot 4x4 workshop and the awesome guys Scott and Eric working there gave us a private tour! We were beyond stoked to have had that opportunity and cannot thank them enough! Top Blokes! @bigfoot4x4
