What started as a simple surprise visit turned into something completely unexpected…
Out here in the Namib Desert, we stumbled across things you definitely don’t see every day — a 1959 classic car, beautiful horses, and even a rubber duck.
Meet Thomas, who travelled all the way from Germany and is now on a 100-day journey across Namibia in a beautifully restored Mercedes-Benz 190 (W121) Ponton.
What makes this journey even more special is that he’s on the road for Padlangs Namibia, documenting the experience and showcasing Namibia after the incredible rains of the past few weeks. More here: facebook.com/padlangs.namibia
Along the way, we also ran into two stunning horses — a moment that felt completely surreal in the middle of the desert.
And the craziest part?
This car was driven all the way from Windhoek… and it’s still running perfectly.
