What happened when I created 100 Pieces on Paper? This is my honest look at the work I did for this challenge. Not every piece accomplished what I set out to accomplish, and that's OKAY! The important thing is that I grew as an artist. The exciting part is that I was able to shift my style is a short amount of time.
This video is a free preview from my course, The Art of Softening. You can find out more about this course here: https://class.wendybrightbill.studio/p/the-art-of-softening
I highly recommend completing a collection of art in this way! I just finished this collection of art with the goal of softening up my style and going deeper into blending. I learned so much from this experience. It was NOT easy and I felt like giving up halfway through. But I am so glad that I stuck with it! Because now I have this group of work. Even better, I have a new skill set.
If I could give any beginning artist advice, it would be to work consistently on 100 pieces on paper WITH a specific goal in mind and to build your skills as an artist. But even if you have been painting for years, there is always room to grow.
