You know those days where everything goes wrong… and somehow turns out even better?
Janice and I woke up SO excited for a waterfall adventure just outside Siem Reap… only to find out it was cancelled last minute. Not enough people booked. Typical, right?
So what do you do when your big plan disappears?
You pivot.
We swapped waterfalls for pool time, a relaxing massage, and a cheeky cocktail at the iconic Red Piano… and that’s where everything changed.
Enter: The Cowboy 🤠
A local tuk tuk driver with personality, charm, and a completely unexpected offer… a countryside tour around Siem Reap.
And honestly? It turned into one of the BEST experiences we’ve had.
From dusty backroads to real local life, this is the side of Cambodia you don’t see if you stick to the usual tourist plans.

Oh no really you have got to be kidding me!! I found a crack in my bottom right hand wisdom tooth. thankfully I was in Chiang Mai and I already knew of a dentist and had had my teeth looked at there last year. What a fantastic service. I walked in with no appointment and was seen in 15 minutes. after confirming I had a crack in my tooth we decided the best thing would be to remove the tooth. I thought I would have to return at a later date but to my surprise I only had to wait around 20 minutes for the dentist to finish up with her other patient. I got a consultation, an x ray a full clean and the tooth extracted for 2500Bart. after I was given pain meds and gaze to bite down on. A truly exceptional service.
