I feel compelled to make something clear: It can be the case that someone is upset, and that is valid, and also the case that no one did anything wrong.
I am disgruntled that UC made such big changes to their palette and formulas and didn't disclose that, even in a mystery palette (they've released many mystery palettes in the past that weren't that way). It's also true that such changes are an accepted risk of buying a palette you haven't seen.
I am upset that a shimmer formula I've praised highly in the past is (apparently) being replaced with one that I can't wear, and that a system I'm invested in to the tune of 150+ shadows is going away. It's also true that brands need to innovate and change in order to be successful.
All of these things can be true and valid at the same time. And they are. I love Unearthly and will purchase other things from them that I love (their satin liquid lip is still my #1 favorite lip formula). I hope the changes bring more people to Unearthly and that they find the same joy in the palettes that I have in the past.
So, as we discuss this, please don't be a dick. And that's all I have to say about that.
