Underworld. A short story written by Installation00, and rooted squarely in the Halo Universe. The story follows our protagonist, Lucas Hunt, as his mundane life is entirely uprooted when the Covenant arrive on his home world of Plusios, a distant inner colony world. Once a slave to the system, the journey thrusts a menial dock worker into an unexpected series of events that sees what he once considered to be his shackles, to be the very source of his strength. He will make discoveries that upend everything he thought he knew about the world, his existence, and himself. With the city falling around him, Luke finds himself navigating a dying world, skulking through the subterranean depths of the city and trying desperately to escape annihilation, as the old world burns and new one rises from it's ashes.
