I wanted to do a silly video and since the Palmtree Panic Past song was some sort of meme a couple months ago, I went for it.
The approach I took with this arrangement was to take unpredictable or unexpected paths when it comes to chord progressions cause Ive learning a bit about them and discovered a technique that allows you to compose stuff that sounds like Giant Steps, which I tried at 0:41.

After several months of hard work, I can finally present to you the OMORI video I promised, the making of this video has been quite the ride for me, I even questioned myself several times if I should cancel it or not but im glad I didnt as it was probably my favorite video of all the ones Ive ever done so far. Remember that community post I made a couple months ago asking you what was your favorite OMORI song? Well, I was collecting data from you in order to make this medley xd. What a ride huh, and we are finally here, Im supposed to say something deep, but all I can say is that IM SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW. I even had the chance to meet talented pixel artists on the way that helped me a lot to create this video, definitely very nice people to talk to, I want to give them my most sincere thanks for their hard work on this. I also want to thank YOU, the viewer, for supporting my channel over the last years, you guys are the best community I could ask for. Since the battle network collection is out and this is my favorite MegaMan iteration, I had to remix one of my favorite songs from the series. I think Im getting the hang of fm instruments, my approach this time was to make the background ones resemble the GBA instruments, while the lead is completely different to accentuate the melody phrases.
Also, online mode do be dead 💀, or maybe they are just afraid of me.

I havent watched this anime yet (as usual lol) but this song is so good, it even has Math Rock vibes (like when it changes time signatures at some parts) and Ive been a Math Rock nerd for a while. I also tried to recreate the guitar distortions by abusing the square duty envelopes and using the Pxx effect.

I dont know how I finished this in only one night, but I hope you like it. This is one of my favorite Sonic the Hedgehog songs and Ive wanted to make an 8 bit remix of it since last month but didnt have any spare time until yesterday haha. Ive been discovering a lot of interesting things related to Famitrackers sound design lately, like copying the same notes on another column and using the Pxx effect to create completely new sounds, which is what I did with the brass section of this remix.
