So this is most likely going to be my last Undertale video. I'm still planning on doing a tutorial or two but I probably won't be releasing any more covers from Undertale on my channel. This was the last one on my list of things I wanted to cover from the game and I finally decided to sit down and record it.
I kind of just wanted to have fun with this one so I didn't do a million takes like I did with Asgore. I just did a few and chose the best out of the bunch. I have to admit that this is a really fun one to play. I decided to keep it in regular tuning instead of tuning down to match the key of the original. If you're trying to figure it out, it's in E and I put the capo on the 2nd fret covering all the strings except for the E string. The chord shapes are basically just like D, G and A if there were no capo. I might do a tutorial on this in the future if you guys want it.
Sorry I haven't uploaded much this month, just been super busy with dumb non-music related stuff. I have been chipping away at this big Earthbound project I hinted at in my last video in my free time, but it's still a ways off from being completed. I think I can safely say that it will be released next month some time. Once it's finished, I'm planning on releasing VGM Opus 4 as well as an album of original stuff that I've done on my channel. Hopefully that will be out by the end of July.
Speaking of albums, I've been kicking around the idea of maybe doing an Undertale acoustic album since I've already covered, like, seven tracks from the game. I'm not 100% sure on this yet, but I thought that I would re-record them all and get them to "album-ready" status then possibly release it on the anniversary of the game or something like that. Maybe I'd throw in a couple of new covers too. Like I said, I'm not positive about this, but if I have the time to do it, it seems like a good idea.
