Abylight Studios and Dummy Dojo announce that Underling Uprising, a vibrant 2D beat 'em up, will launch on May 14th for PC, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox. Drawing heavy inspiration from the rebellious aesthetic of Saturday morning cartoons, the game follows a group of genetically enhanced experiments on a mission to overthrow the mad scientist who created them. Players will fight to reclaim their freedom across seven lengthy, animated stages. The gameplay centers on high octane action up to 4 player coop and versus modes. To keep the combat fresh, players can utilize unique character powers, pick up temporary weapons, and even control vehicles.
