Psychedelic Garage Doom from Oslo, Norway. Before I Burn tells stories of egoism, greed, and the evil it promotes within people’s minds. When it feels like the whole world is burning, do you punch out, or do you stay and burn?
Drums, bass, and guitars were tracked in the basement of an old building in downtown Oslo. Overdubs for guitar, as well as vocals and keys were tracked in different locations in and around Oslo. Like in the past, the band was in charge of the entire process from songwriting and artwork, to recording and mixing. However, mastering was done by Tony Reed (Mos Generator).

Spacedrifter is a heavy rock band influenced by 90’s alternative rock and takes inspiration from bands such as Queens of the Stone Age, Nirvana, Alice in Chains and Kyuss, combined with a healthy mix of other genres as well, such as punk, blues, psychedelic rock and doom . The band was formed in 2019 by a group of friends cranking their amps to eleven and rocking out in the evenings. Spacedrifter consists of bassist Olle Söderberg, drummer Isac Löfgren and guitarists John Söderberg and Adam Hante.
