Due to the fact that the Mt. Hood area offers so many gorgeous areas to visit, Umbrella Falls kind of falls through the cracks. This despite the fact that it is one of only a small handful of waterfall hikes on Mt. Hood. There are several routes one can take to the Falls however the loop hike, which is 4.1 miles, offers the best bang for the buck. A great forest, some beautiful meadows and of course the falls.
