Welcome to my Uncharted 4 review. Naughty Dog almost did all of the things I wanted them to do in Uncharted 4. Uncharted 4 looks amazing, and when they actually allow you to play it, the gameplay is also the best it's ever been. I think I officially enjoy Uncharted more than the latest Tomb Raider games. The gameplay can be that fun. Uncharted 4 is about family in the end. It's about Nathan understanding that once and for all, it's time to give his previous life up. As much as Naughty Dog wanted me to care about Sam Drake, it just never really clicked with me. This Uncharted 4 review couldn't quite express all of my frustrations with throwing him into the mix. That part of the story just feels off for me and I wish Naughty Dog would have left it out of Uncharted 4 entirely. Still, it's a very polished game and for the most part a really great end to one of the best characters in gaming history. But, is it truly the end of Nathan Drake? I guess only the PS5 can answer those questions. Uncharted 4 on PS5 would also be great. Playing through this again at 60FPS would be godlike. Just saying Naughty Dog. Just saying.
