Robotron: 2084 is a multidirectional shooter developed by Eugene Jarvis and Larry DeMar of Vid Kidz and released in arcades by Williams Electronics in 1982. The game is set in the year 2084 in a fictional world where robots have turned against humans in a cybernetic revolt.

Atari, Inc. ported Robotron: 2084 to its own systems (the Atari 8-bit family of home computers, Atari 5200, and Atari 7800), while it released the game for the Apple II, Commodore 64, VIC-20, TI-99/4A, and IBM PC compatibles under its Atarisoft label.

Its a trippy, psychedelic trance shooter. Created in the style of a 1980s arcade game, Moose Life offers you an exhilarating ride into the trance zone man.. Moose Life PS4 - https://store.playstation.com/en-us/product/UP4461-CUSA26622_00-7260398846424284 Moose Life is a forward-scrolling shoot em up game for Microsoft Windows developed by Llamasoft. Similar to past Llamasoft titles like Tempest 2000 and Polybius, the title incorporates influences from classic arcade games of the early 1980s, along with psychedelic visuals and electronic music to create a trance-like effect. It supports virtual reality using Steam VR and PSVR. In Moose Life the player controls a moose traveling on a forward-facing path with two planes of gameplay at the top and bottom of the screen. Players can move in any direction, but may only shoot forward, and can switch between the two planes of gameplay with a button press. Players can collect sheep, released by destroying a checkered ball, to gain temporary invulnerability and a bonus if they are successfully brought to the end of the stage. Enemies may drop power-ups in the form of pills that grant new abilities or perks. The game consists of 50 stages, with pre-defined waves of enemies that appear in a semi-random layout. Like many other Llamasoft titles, it saves the best state when a new level is reached, based on the highest number of lives, and allows players to restart from any of these points, rather than starting over every time. Back in 1994 they created one of the first examples of a new genre of arcade gaming: the trance shooter, with Tempest 2000 on the Atari Jaguar. Since then they have been creating software, both games and visualisers, with the specific intent to create in its users a euphoric experience, something that players will return to again and again simply because the act of playing feels so good. Its a trippy, exhilarating voxel arcade shooter specifically engineered to take you to a happy, tranced-out pleasure zone full of deer and mushrooms. There are memorable milestones along the way include the Virtual Light Machine lightsynths and games such as Space Giraffe, Gridrunner Revolution, Polybius and the Minotaur Arcade games. Moose Life is the latest step on our journey into euphoric trance. Created in the style of an 80s arcade game, but in fully immersive 3D/VR.
