Hi booktube, welcome to a weekly reading vlog. I am SO excited to share this reading vlog with y’all as it’s full of some fun young adult fantasy books, including Reaper at the Gates by Sabaa Tahir, the third book in the Ember in the Ashes series, and Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller. I also read a new romance book, Second First Impressions by Sally Thorne, the author of the Hating Game! I of course had to do another library book haul because I absolutely LOVE getting books to read from my local library. I’m definitely guilting of book shopping too, so I got some exciting book mail and did a mini book haul for y’all in this vlog! I also really loved showing y'all "booktube backstage", or the behind the scenes of booktube, in this video. I show you snippets of how I make booktube content, including bookstagram photos and reels. Lastly, I participated in virtual Yallwest this week, which is a book festival for young adult and middle grade readers. This was such a fun bookish week in my life, and I’m so glad I got to take y’all along with me! I hope y’all get some new and exciting book recommendations from this weekly reading vlog.

As a reader, booktube is my go-to place for book recommendations and book reviews. I absolutely LOVE creating and watching reading vlogs to help me find new books to read. That’s why today I'm bringing you this weekly reading vlog where I read young adult fantasy and romance books. I had some fun (and not so fun) reading experiences this week. I might have DNFd a popular young adult fantasy book series, but I also read a really fun pirate/adventure enemies-to-lovers young adult fantasy romance and a super cute contemporary adult romance book!
