Shot this during an electrical storm. Lightning all around us. It was very scary the strike being so close to us. This is the closest, clearest most well documented lightning strike ever! The strike's energy can be seen for 5 frames CLOSE UP and the palm trees catches fire for 10 frames, which is a third of a second, so it's all happening pretty fast.
