By not having the Falcon Armor as usual, X faces a challenge where he needs to save the day by defeating Nightmare inventor Gate which at the end was manipulated by Sigma (surprise).

This is a TAS WIPs Comparison made between the new TAS WIP and the previous one that was never published. This comparison started as a way to see how much we have improved over my old WIP, it is very old and many improvements have been made. Take into consideration that the old TAS was made in VisualBoyAdvance and the new one in BizHawk which implements different emulation cores, this results in very small differences in lag frames differences and cutscenes in particular.

The format is the following:
On each screen, on the top you will see the timer both in time and frames (it resets in every stage). Below the TAS authors. In the middle you get the difference per section and in total (left vs right). In each section (determined by me) whoever gets first will pause until the other one catchs up so most of the time they are in sync for a better viewing, at this point is when the difference in time are calculated. Audio is also split up, on your left speaker/headphone you will hear the left screen and vice-versa.

Mega Man 2 is a game that hardly needs any introduction. This movie plays Rockman 2, the Japanese version, which is essentially Mega Man 2 in difficult mode.
This is an improvement of 6.24 seconds over the previous run through a variety of small tweaks.

Super Mario World 2: Yoshis Island is a vibrant, colorful and fun game that stars the popular Yoshi. From a technical standpoint, the game is very exceptional on the SNES due to its use of the SuperFX² coprocessor. The chip allows for many cool special effects that are otherwise impossible on the SNES.
This is a 100% completion of the game. It plays through all the levels and collects every item that contributes to end-of-level score: 5 flowers, 20 red coins, and 30 stars. By getting 100% completion in each stage, six extra stages are also unlocked. These are played at the end of the run, again with 100% scores.
The authors of the run have spent over three years working on this run, showing off plenty of egg juggling, precise shots, and other incredible antics. This run does not use certain glitches present in the other runs of the game (an any% run and a warp glitch run), but there should still be plenty to surprise you. Reading the authors lengthy comments is recommended.")

This is the 12th published movie of Super Mario World that beats the game by clearing 11 of the 96 exits, the shortest route intended by the game developers. This movies faster by 2.74 seconds, clocking at less than 10 minutes. As in the previous publication, Mario still dies in the process.
A few new tricks were found:

Downward corner boost.

Metal Slug Advance is an action shooter game from the popular series Metal Slug. In it, you are a recruit for Peregrine Falcon, training on an unnamed island with limited equipment. All seems to be going as planned, but when General Mordens troops invade the island, captures many of your allies, and attempts to build a base, you must rise to the task of fending off the approaching army.
There are some key differences between Metal Slug Advance and other games of the Metal Slug series. In this game, you have a health meter, so damage boosts can be used to save time. Also, there are collectable cards which provide bonuses or upgrade power of certain attacks.
This run aims for 100% completion, which completes all stages and collects all the cards. This requires replaying many stages to accomplish different goals. There is also one death in the movie, because one card is obtained by dying. See the submission comments for more details.
