The Committee for Human Rights in North Korea | UN Special Rapporteur Reem Alsalem on International Women's Day @committeehrnk | Uploaded March 2024 | Updated October 2024, 9 hours ago.
To mark International Women's Day, HRNK would like to share a message from Ms. Reem Alsalem, the UN Special Rapporteur on violence against women and girls.

This day reminds us of the urgent need to address the systemic issues that undermine the fundamental rights and dignity of North Korean women. As Special Rapporteur Alsalem emphasizes, "we must continue to amplify their voices and needs for protection and human rights."

On International Women's Day, North Korea's women are not forgotten.
