Since the war on Gaza began in October 2023, Israel’s government, military and illegal settlers have also targeted the occupied West Bank. The military has carried out near-daily raids, arrests and home demolitions, while destroying civilian infrastructure. UN data shows that more than 1,200 Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces between 2023 and 2025 — more than in the previous 17 years combined. UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese has more.
