OK, I know i'm not the most athletic person or the most skilled as far as sporting activities are concerned, but I do try! Sometimes I ignore that little voice in my head that says "maybe give this one a miss" or "you should really work up to that level" But I don't.. and then I hurt myself!
I was so disappointed that we didn't manage to catch the full fall from grace but it felt hard, a proper shock to the system where one minute I was powering up the hill and then next I was on the ground. Thankfully my ego was probably bruised more than anything else - the full clips on the John and Mandy channel definitely show this a little better.
But as they say, better to get right back on the bike so I did, there wasn't really any other way to get out of the forest so I'm very glad I was physically able to do that.
Terry is planted in his lovely little glen with some friends to keep him company and Glencaple is still spectacular.
