We finally managed to dodge the snow, I say that with a tinge of sadness as I LOVE the snow. Snow days when we had the house were brilliant! Our friends across the road would call for us and we'd go and mess around in the park - this was in the last 8 years or so, so as supposed grown ups but it was so much fun. Spinning that around to deal with it when you are driving your Home through the snow makes it a little different.
The carnage caused by all the back to back storms up here can be seen everywhere you look, it so sad to see these 100s of years old trees lying across the road, damage to houses and cars and routes barred so the locals would struggle getting about.
As awful as that is the drives we've had have been just stunning! The lochs are breathtaking and I simply can't stop staring at them as we drive along. The sheer amount of screen camera footage I have is ridiculous!
