I'd heard it mentioned by a few people who had dealt with cancer before but I really thought I'd just carry on as normal - so far extra tests and things haven't affected me so much, it's been easy to just get them done and worry about the results when they came through. This time hit different though. I was nervous from the day before even though I knew I wouldn't get the results straight away. I was quiet and subdued which as you know, just isn't like me!
