This is my test to see if I can get HD videos to work. It looks really good on my computer...I wonder if youtube will screw it up.

Also frequently called Like Dead Flowers. - though thats a terrible translation of the title... never trust Google Translate with grammar, btw. Title translates as As Dignified As a Blooming Flower (or something like that ^_^;) Its not about dead flowers at all! Or dead anything! Its about growing up and sparklers and spinning and cherry trees and, well... LIFE. Its really cute. Ah well... Romaji later? Artist: Beniiro RITOMASU (紅色リトマス) {Red Litmus} - hey, didnt we use that stuff in chemistry class? This song is a triple metaphor of sorts - the flowers blooming and becoming full, the moon blooming and becoming full, and young girls blooming and becoming more refined. I think. I hope. Well, she is comparing herself to the cherry blossoms when she says I still dont know where that little bud will wind up. Hopefully those last four lines make a bit more sense? Obviously its not the cherry blossoms whistling to each other and wearing geta, but its the girls that bloomed. I think. Also, about the moon rabbits... Instead of the man in the moon, the Japanese have rabbits pounding mochi on the moon. I guess they also trace out the moons phases while theyre up there? The footsteps at the end - it was originally geta which are those weird looking sandals with wood stilts on them. Means the same thing - I guess I didnt want to interrupt the flow with people stopping to Google something... This is an original picture (Not by me! Pixiv 542836), so the character is not from any anime or anything. And if you look closely, she has bunny ears! This is possibly the most important song so far. If you dont get it, this will explain things! So many cross references! So many spoilers! SO MUCH EPIC. I tried putting all the references I could catch in annotations, but that part near the end was too fast for the annotations to keep up ^_^ A few notes: Title: kyoushuu sakusen Kyoushuu just means nostalgia (and since this is Nostalgia for Nothingness...). Sakusen is more tricky. It can mean operation, like a military operation (Operation: Nostalgia) and as cool as that sounded, it didnt flow well in the actual lyrics...
