Propagating your umbrella tree plant is a long but simple process. In this video I propagate the Umbrella Tree Plant (schefflera) and compare what's the best method. Soil propagation or water propagation. If you have a dwarf schefflera arboricola or a large Schefflera actinophylla the propagation methods are the same.
This propagation method took about 70 days and I follow it from start to finish. I usually struggle with soil propagation, it could be a combination of my environment, humidity, pot choice, or watering consistency. Water propagations generally, depending on the plant, work better for me. If you have a preferred propagation method, I encourage you to stick with what you know and what you're comfortable with.
