Happy Halloween 2016! I hope you’re in the mood for something dark and mysterious because in this spine-tingling video you will encounter something dead, something deadly and something very spooky lurking in the shadows. Moo ha ha ha ha! Okay….so it’s just an Umbrakinesis demonstration with a dead leaf and knife from my kitchen, but hey I did wear a creepy mask and play some spooky music. ツ
Umbrakinesis is like telekinesis but instead of focusing on the target we focus on the target’s shadow. Umbrakinesis looks and sounds more impressive but it may actually be easier than telekinesis and here’s why. A few years ago I discovered that using peripheral vision or a relaxed, evenly focused gaze improved my connection with targets. Umbrakinesis works in a similar manner as it takes your focus off of the target and allows you to establish a more relaxed or indirect visual/mental connection.
