Compression bits combine up-cut and down-cut geometry to give you an incredibly clean edge on both the top and bottom of your material. This special set of mortising compression spiral bits has been packaged with the CNC operators in mind. All sizes (1/4", 3/8" and 1/2") have a 1" cut-length and a short up-cut section, making them ideal for machining sheet goods of all thicknesses…even down to 1/4". The 3/8" bit is also 3/8" shank. If you don't have a 3/8" collet for your router, we offer a 3/8" to 1/2" collet adapter.
