I headed out to the Peak District for a much-needed wet weather camping adventure with my mate Woody, who was tackling his first-ever wild camp in the area. We hiked up near Kinder Reservoir so I could test out the Hyperlite Mountain Gear Unbound 2, an ultralight DCF tent kindly loaned to me by Dan at Ultralight Outdoor Gear. After weeks of drought, the heavens absolutely opened up on us overnight, giving the new gear a proper thrashing before our hasty morning pack-down in the mist.
