From 2013 - 2020 there have been 8 distinct Surface Pens released. And even within those 8 models, there are variations... So how do you know which Surface Pen you have?
This video walks through each of the 8 Surface Pens so far, with a little bit of digital pen history thrown in. We show you the identifying features of each Surface Pen as well as how to remove and replace the battery and pen tip. Pay close attention as some of the pens look similar, but they all have different pen tips, and the battery replacement procedure is different for each.
