Here is our ultimate RV solar system! For our RVs solar system, we decided to only use the best, Rich Solar and Victron Energy. We also get the best installer to help out, Derek with Cross Country RV Solar.
In this video we do a full Installation of solar on our new Alliance 395ds. Living full-time on the road as RVers with two little ones we knew we wanted an RV solar system that could run ANYTHING! So we first reached out to Rich Solar and ordered 12 of their 335 watt panels. The great thing about rich solar panels is that they fit along the side of our Alliances 101" wide body. This allows us to fit 13 panels for a total of 4355 watts on the roof of our Alliance 395ds. We also go with the Rich Solar Alpha Pro 5 lithium batteries. These Rich Solar lithium batteries are server rack style with built-in BMS, breakers, touch screen, and many more features. For this system, we also went with Victron Energy components, including (2) 48-volt 5k inverters, the full Victron Lynx system, and a Victron Cerbo.
We also get the best for the solar installation, Derek from Cross Country RV Solar. Cross Country RV Solar has been around for a while now and Derek has done over 200 full installs. We are super confident in his work, attention to detail, and design. If you are looking for an off-grid solar system for your RV make sure you look him up!
