This guide helps explain WHY certain weapons become the meta in PvP. But first, what defines a “weapon meta?” …… Many things came to mind when I was trying to answer this question for myself. Is it because of the gun's lethality? Is it because the guns are easy to obtain? Or is it because they just FEEL good….. What was INITIALLY going to be a video about which weapons are considered “the meta” quickly turned into a more investigative approach. I wanted to try and come up with the answer to WHY certain weapons become the meta. Because it doesn’t always boil down to one particular stat. And I’ll squash this bug right away…. It’s not because they have the fastest time to kill…
In Season of the splicer, 120s are clearly the meta, yet, they have the SLOWEST optimal TTK of any primary.
