Hello and welcome back to our new limited series here on That's Comic-Cal. Whether you are a newbie or verteran to the comic/manga world a question will eventually rise up in conversations. What is the greatest story ever told? Well...we did some research and we thing that when it comes to the BIG 2 (DC Comics and Marvel Comics), we may have found them. DC Comics: Blackest Night by Geoff Johns and Marvel Comics: Secret Wars by Jonathan Hickman. Besides the stories themselves what makes them special is all the iconic stories told in the years leading up to their respective climaxes that were given to the readers in the process.
We continute on the road to Secret Wars with the aftermath of a turning point in the origonal Marvel Ultimate Universe. While the main event of Ultimatum took the Marvel world and fans by storm it would be the small epilogues that would be the most crucial for the larger Marvel event in the years to come.
Writters Brian Michael Bendis and Joe Polaski each give us the aftermath of the Ultimatum event from the perspective of Marvel's First Family and your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. What happens will deftiniely be something you will not forget.
