Hello and welcome back to our new limited series here on That's Comic-Cal. Whether you are a newbie or verteran to the comic/manga world a question will eventually rise up in conversations. What is the greatest story ever told? Well...we did some research and we thing that when it comes to the BIG 2 (DC Comics and Marvel Comics), we may have found them. DC Comics: Blackest Night by Geoff Johns and Marvel Comics: Secret Wars by Jonathan Hickman. Besides the stories themselves what makes them special is all the iconic stories told in the years leading up to their respective climaxes that were given to the readers in the process.
We continute on the road to Blackest Night with a new arc and a visit to Heaven, Hell and everywhere in between to battle the possessed Spirit of Vengence known to all comic fans as the legendary Spectre. Who will be the one to make the ulitmate sacrifice to quell the madness of this beast?! At the same time an unknown up and coming writter named Geoff Johns takes up the mantle to write this special chapter in DC Comics and as well all know, the rest is history!
