Nuts by B.P.R.D contains 10617 monsters in two rooms and is almost unplayable as a result. It is featured in Doomworld’s Top 10 Infamous WADs and also in their Top 100 Most Memorable Maps, placing 4th.

This video is in 2 segments for reasons explained below, the second part starts at 17:16.
This is the first true UV-Max completion of this level, where 100% kills and 100% secrets (0 out of 0 in this case) is achieved. The issue with maxing this level is that even with really good infighting and perfect ammo management you are left with roughly 800 cyberdemons at 4000 health each and nothing besides your fists, which deals 2-20 damage per hit, to kill them with.
The monsters can do some damage to the cyberdemons through infighting, most notably the arch-viles, but eventually they get destroyed by the splash damage.
Any monster on the upper area that attacks the cyberdemons are also quickly killed off, so there is only one solution: gather up enough homing revenant rockets to tear through all the cyberdemons. So how many do we need exactly? 850 cyberdemon at 4000 health where revenants rockets do an average of 45 damage, that means we need to simply gather up at least 70000 rockets, great! ... Theres just one more problem, while this is an incredibly easy task to do, it should take roughly 5 hours of circling revenants before youve got enough.
5 hours isnt too bad, sure, but thats in game time, unfortunately the game runs a bit slower once the rockets start to pile up... to the point where you are moving 0.5 seconds every minute!
So in real time it takes about 23 days to gather the rockets, which would be extremely boring to do. Luckily the upper area is really large, so what I did was take a segment where I circle the area, copy the inputs and insert them multiple times into the demo so that its nearly 6 hours long and then simply let my laptop play through the demo for 23 days before I then take control! So nobody, including myself, have actually seen what happens between 30 minutes and 340 minutes.
Then of course the fun part begins, where you are moving 4 frames every 14 seconds to guide the rockets to the cyberdemons. Theres a few places where I do some weird things like take damage for no reason, which is because of just horrible controls (I cant even move backwards) and doing it over again takes at least 30 minutes, so I left it like that. I would have tried to make it a bit better looking, but putting in effort to do that would have driven me mad, so itll have to do. It took roughly 20 hours to do 10 minutes, needless to say that is just an awful experience. Then there was another 25 days or so of waiting to create the video.
At the start you have to help the revenants out by killing the barons, as the barons would win easily. The part between roughly 14:55 to 16:10 is repeated/copied until I have enough projectiles.
This can be done non-TAS, you just need an actual super computer optimized to play doom and about 6 hours.
What an absolute waste of my time this has been, hopefully youll enjoy this more than I did.")

Every few months I feel like playing some doom eternal again, so heres 3 hours of modded master levels. There arent many new mods these days as far as Im aware, but theres quite a few I havent played yet. I was also planning on doing all the official master levels in one go with the same restrictions as below, but Ive just never got to it because the length makes it hard to find motivation for it, so maybe some day Ill do that. I think this if the first time Ive recorded anything with ray tracing, and it looks amazing in certain levels/areas.

ReclaimDen is a toxic version of Reclaimed Earth with dark Doom 2016-like visuals and challenging encounters.
This was my first playthrough of this mod and it was probably my favourite out of the ones I played here.
The fight below the gore nest was visually incredible, seeing the second baron approach me right as I was finishing the glory kill on the first baron by the reflection is something Ive never experienced before.

Very cool visual change to the level. Felt like I was constantly trying to max out my ammo and health in the final fight, usually playing without the hud isnt a problem, but here I just didnt have any idea were I was health wise for the most of it. Overall nicely balanced difficulty wise, nothing that got too crazy at any point, but still interesting fights throughout it.

A challenging master level with visual twists! This level is balanced to be played without the hammer and includes some DLC demons. Difficulty increases and peaks in the last arena and the slayer gate. The main goal was to make interesting and challenging arenas revolving around heavy/super heavy demons. I had some fun modifying some cutscenes as well so I wouldnt recommend to skip them.
Yeah I skipped the cutscenes. Starts off easy and then gets a bit crazy towards the end. I played really slow at the final fight, this was the last part I did so I just wanted to survive.

Exuden is the Exultia master level made by The Den, the French community Doom Eternal Discord server. This mod is a complete transformation of Exultia, it is recommended to play it on a completed save. The slayer gate is already open and some plateforming sections simplified so you can focus on the arenas!
No idea what was up with those final marauders, none of them wanted to attack. Felt like I played pretty badly here, but the level was ok.

A deathless playthrough of the cultist base master level on nightmare. These master levels are amazing, offering a nice challenge without being super long.
I dont think Ill be doing ultra-nightmare of the campaign anytime soon, while I love this game Im not able to find the motivation to sit through another entire run through of it, I get easily bored thinking about just how long it is (which is not a complaint, I just cant handle that these days), and Im not doing it in segments. Ill most likely do more master levels though. Ill leave some tips below that maybe someone will find useful.
Tips:
Make sure to swing that flame belch around, you can easily hit another demon or two you werent even aware of if you just throw it around quickly.
Grenades can be fired while you are firing another weapon, if youre like me than you probably forgot where the grenade button was in Doom 2016, but in eternal I would highly recommended setting the throw grenade and switch grenade hotkeys somewhere easily accesible.
Glory kills are really nice for a reason not too entirely obvious, you dont take damage while performing the glory kills animation and while its going on the flame belch, grenade and chainsaw cooldowns are getting closer to finishing up. So when you are in a bad situation you are able to draw out more time for the cooldowns to finish up, and then getting armor back or having a charge of the freeze grenade ready. So I think using the fast glory kill rune would actually be worse than simply not using it.
I feel like the most dangerous demon is the mancubus if their cannons are left up. For the arch-vile, tyrants, barons and dread knights you just freeze them and kill them with the chaingun, since theres usually just 1 of them most the time. The mancubus appear much more frequently, but if you just take out their cannons they go from being super dangerous to being basically harmless. Once their cannons are down you dont even need to kill them, just deal with everything else first or stack up on health, armor and ammo meanwhile.
For the majority of fights you can easily dash around the arena to avoid taking damage, keep a look out for the lower tier enemies where you can refill health and ammo.
Tips for the campaign/UNM:
Know how to get to the totems, they always spawn in the same place (but sometimes they spawn after certain demons are killed).
Marauders can be killed with rocket launcher remote detonation + ballista, just shoot the rocket above and beyond the marauder and remote detonate to stun them.
The sentinel ammo upgrade isnt really that necessary, if you switch weapons frequently and notice youre low on ammo then even without checking you just know that the chainsaw is not on cooldown and you can go for ammo, at least thats how I do it. Health and armor is just much better imo, I would get the loot magnet and faster armor drop rate as the 5th and 6th crystal and then only health/armor until the last 2.
Know when in what fights to use the BFG or the crucible, if youre on full health then theres not much point of wasting it. Though sometimes you can know when things are about to go wrong (youre corned with 2 barons comeing at you for example), in that case fire away.
Bosses:
Boss1:
- First phase is easy, just shoot him when the green eyes appear.
- Dont attack after his deflection attack, instead dodge his attack after it and then deal damage (iirc you can do more damage this way, not sure).
- When he spawns demons he should follow up with the jump rope attack, use chaingun here before switching to rocket launcher to stun him. While he is stunned go for chainsaw on a demon and then damage the boss.
- If he is getting close when he is doing the deflection thing, then try to time a chainsaw kill on some demon to avoid taking the damage.
Boss2:
- Hide either under the platforms on the lower section or take cover in the upper section, boss cant hit you.
- Snipe the head of the drones for ammo/health, once they are all dead you can safely go for the boss.
- Once the boss covers the ground with damage just go to another cover area, and repeat step 2.
Boss3:
- Use all BFG ammo on the first phase, use the crucible to clear any heavy demon in your path (but try to just run around/ignore them if you can)
- Try to run in some sort of cycle, I go through the lower teleporter, go right and jump down and up the jumppad to the upper section and then repeat while I try to deal damage to the boss and ignoring other demons.
- Second phase I just use the jump pads and move in a circle to avoid damage while just shooting at the boss.
- If he does the meteor attack just hide in under the middle section.
- Something I havent tried, but if there and mancubi try to snipe their cannons and leave them alive, Im sure theres a limit to how many demons can be there and without their cannons they are harmless.
Once youve mastered this then pretty much every fight is super easy, good luck!")
