The Ulster Scottish Pipe Band, which includes members from Guilderland, Clifton Park and Poestenkill, competed at the World Pipe Band Championship held Aug. 14-15 in Glasgow, Scotland. The 40-person band won the Grade 2 bracket, becoming just the sixth US band to win its division in the competition's history.
