This is Ulla, my long, slim journal effort. I was inspired to make this by so many fellow journal makers and I I have concluded that this size journal is a real challenge. I am not sure if I will make too many more of this size, but when a page works out, it is fairly thrilling!

I have named her Ulla because the cover photo of the lovely young woman is Swedish (I think, maybe Norwegian) but I am part Swedish, so I'm sticking with Swedish. According to Scandification.com "the name Ulla has links to Scandinavian history, but also German, Norse, and other regions of the world too. This name has a unique sound to it, and it translates to mean “determination” or someone with a fierce amount of will." And that is perfect, because I was DETERMINED to finish this!

This journal uses many old papers as well as a few digital pieces. I have included links to some Etsy shops below.
