Every day, new players join the ukulele world, learning how to play their ukuleles. They often have another player who quickly shows them 10 chords, which the new player will never remember.
This is how I teach the C chord to a roomful of people, whether in 5th grade (the year I teach ukulele in school) to adults. Then we play songs with just the C chord, and then add the F chord. See the next video (youtu.be/f-MnN4Rt_jQ) for the F Chord.
