~What is UKSRTX?

UKSRTX is the latest instalment in the mainline series of ITG mod tournaments created by TaroNuke, but stands as a full-blown collaboration between him and me. Using a heavily customised version of openITG (called NotITG, currently version 4), it serves as a showcase of new features, some made JUST for the tournament!

Following on from UKSRT9, this carries on as the third instalment of a four-part story me and TaroNuke want to tell you. There's a bunch of lore both within the cutscenes and the stages themselves, which are shown in this video. Take notes!


~Where can I download NotITG and these files?

You can download the most recent version of NotITG from the dedicated HeySora page;

~Is this even possible to play on pad?

Yes! All the stages are entirely possible to pass on a machine, though of course whether YOU can or not is dependent on your skill level.


~So what the fuck was that Extra stage (THREAD OF FATE MANIPULATOR)?

This was the result of a thought-experiment last year where Joe and Taro decided to see if they could get midi input to influence ingame modifiers.
Once they got midi input working via Joe's midi controller, Joe decided to make a totally original song to go along with it.
Every knob and slider on the controller was assigned to a mod ( pic: twitter.com/NitroX72/status/1185988357484101640 ), and the song was designed so that there were sections that take advantage of this setup.
He spent a long time rehearsing the entire set, and we even went as far as to rehearse a staged conflict and faked real world interaction for the prestage cutscene. A video of this real-world act will be posted!
It was the first time we'd done anything like this, but it really paid off!!!
The version shown here is a "baked" version of the live act, where Joe recorded his rehearsal! There will be this version and a DIY one in the release.


~What is the Thread?

You'll find out more about it soon enough...


~Is the town of Blingdenway an actual place or just something Peeesh fabricated?

It is indeed a town somewhere in another universe that he found while exploring the Thread, but Peeesh has the ability to alter aspects of it as per his wishes - but even he has his limits, depending on how much energy he has stockpiled.


~Will we see Peeesh again?

Of course! He's too precious to have in just one tournament.
