The Ukrainian language belongs to the family of Slavic languages. In this video comparison you can see to what extent these languages (Ukrainian vs Russian vs Polish vs Slovak) are mutually intelligible. This video is for you if you'd like to learn Ukrainian or you just want to see how much you're able to understand it off the cuff.
