Two years on, the on-going conflict in Ukraine continues to impact its children significantly.
UNICEF UK President Olivia Colman met with 15-year-old Solomiya from Kharkiv, Ukraine, to hear her inspiring story of resilience, having been awoken by an explosion and fleeing her home in only twenty minutes, and the lasting impact it has had on her life and education.
UNICEF continues to provide humanitarian assistance and critical support to children and families in Ukraine, as well as supporting the government on inclusive and sustainable recovery efforts in central and western Ukraine - a recovery with the rights of children at its core.
