This class will demonstrate the very simple & effective ukulele songbook that has been used for the past decade to teach thousands of adult & pediatric patients at Duke University Hospital. The teaching method uses an open tuning and a color-coded songbook. The songbook contains 55 public domain songs and will be sent to all participants!
Bio:
William Dawson is the Musician In Residence at Duke University Hospital. He studied Music at The University of Memphis and Elementary Education at North Carolina Central University (Summa Cum Laude). He has been performing & teaching music to patients, families, and staff at UNC and Duke Hospitals since 2009.
