A fake “1 bedroom apartment in the heart of London” listing used the exact address and image of 10 Downing Street, falsely advertising a stay just four minutes from the Houses of Parliament. Consumer watchdog Which? created the listing on Booking.com and successfully processed a payment, exposing serious weaknesses in the platform’s fraud checks and verification systems.
